All color monitors, printers and presses reproduce color differently. A color photo will look vastly different from one monitor or printer to the next. This can be overcome by calibrating the settings of these various devices to match. Kendall Printing has gone to great lengths to insure that the color our customers see on their proof will match the final product.

Our plotters, monitors, and scanners have all been calibrated to reproduce colors as they will appear on the final printed piece. The proof you will see is identical to the printed piece that comes off the Kendall press. All of our equipment has been calibrated based on the output of our Heidelberg Multi-color press, the most advanced color printing equipment on the market. This process ensures that the color piece we produce for you will be 100% accurate.

However, this process does not ensure that what customers see on their monitors or printers will match ours, because your equipment may not be calibrated to the same specifications. If you are interested in calibrating your company’s equipment, and would like to see color as it will appear on Kendall presses, we can provide you with an ICC Color Profile. This file can be loaded onto the computers in your office, and allow you to view documents according to Kendall Printing’s color specifications.
